🗺️ What is a Yatra?
A yatra is, at its heart, a spiritual pilgrimage — a way of travelling that asks you to slow down and move with awareness. Rooted in ancient traditions, it values time in nature, simple encounters, and presence over rushing from place to place.
In this Andaman Sea Yatra, you travel through islands and coastal communities, combining time in nature with hands-on learning and cultural exchange. The journey offers space for reflection, community connection, and a deeper understanding of how people live in relationship with the ocean.
🏝️ Highlights of the Journey:
• Begin in Ranong with rainforest hot springs and a slow arrival into coastal life
• Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Mu Ko Surin National Park
• Take part in a gratitude ceremony by the sea
• Visit a Moken sea gypsy village and learn about traditional ocean livelihoods
• Join a hands-on batik painting workshop inspired by coastal life
• Stay with a local family on Koh Klang and explore village-based conservation
• Learn about mangrove ecosystems and community climate solutions
🚌 Meeting Point & Final Destination:
The journey begins in Ranong City and concludes in Krabi Town, where you can continue your travels or head to the airport.
